Acting as a three-way partnership, the Global Fund allows business owners to work with three times the amount of capital they would have on their own.

Here is an example on how the fund works:

A Partners Worldwide In-Country Affiliate (like the Philippines or Haiti) saves money to create a business development fund. The business group pools $5000.

A Partners Worldwide North American Affiliate works with the in-country affiliate by developing a business plan, mentoring and prayer. The North American Affiliate raises funds to make a matching loan to the business group equal to their savings. The business group gains an additional $5000, and now has $10,000.

The Partners Worldwide Global Fund now provides a second matching loan equal to savings once the first two steps are complete. The Global Fund provides an additional $5000 and now the business group has $15,000.
