End Poverty for Good
Global poverty has been halved In the past few decades, with just 10 percent of the world’s population living in extreme poverty today.
20 years ago we joined this movement to end poverty—and haven’t looked back since. Our first 20 years were focused on building a model, growing a global network, and discerning God’s call for our ministry. But the next 20 years will be even more critical if we are to end poverty for good.
While global poverty is on the decline, there are still 800 million who people wake up in poverty every day. That is 800 million people who lack access the opportunities and resources to flourish; whose dreams are out of reach. Unemployment, hunger, and inequality are just a few daily challenges too many people face.
Our vision is to end poverty through business so that all may have abundant life. We partner with local institutions around the world to provide entrepreneurs and farmers with training, mentoring, access to capital, and advocacy tools—equipping them to create jobs, grow local economies, and transform their communities.
Together, we can close the final gap and end poverty for good.
Give – Give monthly and show your support every day of the year.
Advocate – Raise awareness about extreme poverty and the solutions that are working using the #EndPovertyForGood hashtag.
Ending poverty for good will be an incredible feat for our world, a day when all will have life and have it abundantly. We felt compelled to write a manifesto and a guide to that goal—found below, as well as in our 2016 Impact Report. It calls organizations and individuals to rally together as we pursue a world without poverty.
