Our International Internship Program provides an exciting and challenging cross-cultural experience while gaining an exposure to international business. It is a 9 -12 month commitment that is open to anyone with considerable cross-cultural experience who has completed or is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in development, business or a related field. Volunteers will have the opportunity to live and work with local communities and assist our in-country teams on a variety of projects. Local offices often have needs different from what you will see in the general job description that is posted each year. Examples of other jobs you may take on as an intern include assisting in marketing programs and grant-writing, business development assistance to individual businesses, training in loan software, conference planning, etc.
Annual openings and duration are determined by country need. International Interns are under the supervision and mentorship of a partnership manager (PM) in the field. By the end of their experience, interns will have achieved measurable results in personal learning and also greatly impact the growth efforts of the specific country partnership.

Partners Worldwide International Internship Program —Timeline
• Application Deadline: May 30
• First and second round interviews for qualified candidates: Complete by Mid-June
• Selected candidates receive assigned field placement and job offer: Complete by June 30
• Build support base and send out fundraising letters: Complete by July 30
• Orientation: Late July – Early Aug.
• Departure for assigned field placements: Mid Aug. – Early Sept.
• Field End Date: About Sept. 30 (varies with country and actual departure date)
