Affiliate Groups
A Partners Worldwide affiliate is a group of Christian business and professional people that come together with the purpose of encouraging and equipping Christian business people to help the poor and each other in partnerships.
To accomplish its vision, Partners Worldwide encourages the creation of groups (affiliates) of business and professional people in developing countries and high-unemployment communities who desire to become involved with a corresponding group of business and professional people in North America.
The establishment of an affiliate group helps members to more effectively collaborate, exchange ideas/skills, mentor younger entrepreneurs, and network with other business people locally and internationally. The objective is to strengthen existing businesses, mentor business people, grow businesses, and create jobs.
The North American partner affiliate’s role is to function as a resource to the partnering group. They “walk along side” the entrepreneur and business group in the field and provide prayer support, encouragement, business and technical skills, financial resources and access to other resources that would enhance the success of the partnership.

A group of interested North American business people are matched with an emerging international business affiliate based on common interests and goals for the partnership. Representatives from each group will come together to establish a common vision, goals and objectives for their partnership. They will address issues of resources, communications, responsibilities, and make commitments that each affiliate will agree to in their role in this partnership. Based on these discussions, they will then complete a partnership agreement. The most common outcome of partnerships is access to capital and mentoring.

Affinity Groups
A Partners Worldwide Affinity Team is a group of volunteers who are focused on a specific area of skill or expertise that may be a resource to Partners Worldwide and their affiliates. Their role will be to assess, consult, plan and assist in the implementation of initiatives related to their area of expertise. Through their efforts they will encourage and promote the vision and mission of Partners Worldwide. These individuals/organizations are not necessarily in a geographical area but could be world wide and will be asked to participate in partnerships and projects as required by Partners Worldwide affiliates. Available affinity groups are the Water Resources, Alternative Finances, Amaranth Grain, Import, Housing, Education, and HIV/AIDS.
