What it is:
This is an activity to bring business people together to help each other and collaborate with one another
How it works:
A business person stands up in front of the “the experts” (local affiliate members) and presents a problem or issue that he/she is struggling with in business. The business person then sits down and is not allowed to talk while the experts share their opinions and ideas. The facilitator of the activity moderates the discussion of comments and suggestions from the experts. Once the experts are through sharing, the business person stands up again and is able to share any insights or changes in thought that he/she gained from the conversation.
Where/When to implement this activity:
This is very effective when used during a training or a meeting of a local affiliate.
What the outcome can be:
This type of activity typically has very positive impacts on both the business person and the affiliate as a group. The business person gains insight or perspective that he/she might not have thought of before and the affiliate learns new ways to collaborate with one another.
