Small Events

What it is:
A short event, typically one afternoon or evening, held for local Christian business people.

How it works:

Christian business people come together for a time of learning and fellowship. The event consists of three different parts:

1) Key business topic: speaker, small group, application activity
2) Networking time: socializing, refreshments
3) Testimony: a life-story from a member reflecting the topic of the event to make it applicable for the participant

What the outcome can be:

The topics and focuses of these events give business people and associations an opportunity to learn about business principles from a Christian perspective.

The topics combined with an effective testimony are excellent sources of encouragement to local business leaders to implement Biblical principles in their businesses.
This type of event also promotes effective networking opportunities for local business owners and business associations.  This is especially true if the event is organized by a group of local business associations rather than by a single organization or the local partnership manager.

NOTE:  The partnership manager should not organize these events.  He/she may facilitate the process and even participate in the process, but the event should be put on by the local affiliates.
