Zambia - All Kids Can Learn
Chisamba
In a unique approach to orphan care, youth grow up with a strong work ethic in an entrepreneurial environment north of the capital city Lusaka. Since 2005, over a hundred children have lived within All Kids Can Learn (AKCL), an orphan care facility that provides high-quality education and family-oriented care. Located on a farm, AKCL relies on a sustainable business model that employs over 175 locals in poultry production, food services, farming, and education, and offers 2-year apprenticeships to prepare young adults for small-scale commercial farming. http://www.akcli.org
