Regional Overview
Filled with skyscrapers, shantytowns, and everything in between, Asia is a region of ingenuity, diversity, and opportunity. Partners Worldwide has worked in Asia since 2002 to empower a growing regional network of over 1,600 Christian business people who are setting higher goals and taking longer strides to overcome poverty in this global movement.
In Cambodia, India, China, and the Philippines, business people work in collaboration with our North American partners to bring effective value to the SME entrepreneurs in their own country and neighboring countries. Mentoring relationships are also growing throughout Asia, including high-impact entrepreneurs from Hong Kong who directly mentor SME business owners from central China and other parts of the Asian region. The Asian region is filled with people passionate about overcoming poverty and impacting the Kingdom in an innovative, sustainable way.
The Philippines - eBEST
Manila, Laguna, Antipolo and Bacolod
E-BEST is a network of Christian Filipino business professionals seeking to serve God through their talents. With over 80 members today, E-BEST has been connecting entrepreneurs across the economic strata since 2001, providing mentoring, training, and business partnerships in the local chapters of metropolitan Manila, Laguna, Antipolo and Bacolod. In the Philippines, small-medium enterprises (SMEs) account for 99% of all registered businesses, 70% of all employment, and 60% of all exports. North American mentors have partnered with leaders of E-BEST to establish the “Business as Mission” concept in the training and mentoring opportunities.
Volunteer Opportunities
Seeking long-term GBA committed to partnership, mentoring, and a need of $30,000 financial support and other investments. This GBA will work toward building up new leadership and organizational structure to provide training and mentoring in four active chapters (99% of employment in country is through SMEs).
