Partners in Pignon (PaPi), is a network of enthusiastic and innovative entrepreneurs in the rural central plateau of Haiti. Since 2009, members meet monthly to discuss best practices, business successes and lessons learned, and collaborate to find solutions to poverty in their small community. Mentors from Pella, Iowa walk alongside members of PaPi by seeking new local resources and providing needed machinery, resulting in tremendous job growth within the enterprises. With the promise of improved infrastructure and roads through the town of Pignon in upcoming years, the affiliate is growing, and eager for increased commerce and partnership throughout Haiti.
