Since 2000, businesspeople have shared a vision to transform communities and promote reconciliation between the rich and poor of Ecuador. Each member is committed to operating and expanding their small and medium business by following biblical principles and Christian ethical standards. As a professional network based in the capital city of Quito, more than 50 members of Partners for Christian Development - Ecuador (PCD-E) facilitate business training sessions for one another. They also offer a revolving loan fund to qualified businesses, and participate in ongoing mentoring relationships with North American partners.

At the age of 17, Roger Avila began learning from his father, a goldsmith of Cuenca, Ecuador. Along with his brother, Willy, Roger spent hours each day discovering the physical beauty, as well as cultural legacy, in pieces created. It wasn’t long before a new generation of goldsmiths was born.
