2025 Annual Report

Dear friends and partners,

In these updates, you'll see all we’ve been able to accomplish in partnership with one another.

Today, more than 337,000 businesspeople are leading redemptive businesses, supported by a global network that’s stronger than ever.

This is impact at a scale we’ve never seen before, and it’s only possible because of you.

Looking ahead, we’re on track to reaching our Vista 2030 goals: one million redemptive business owners creating three million jobs and lifting 15 million people out of poverty.

What you see here is more than a celebration of what we’ve achieved—it’s a promise to push harder, reach farther, and think outside of the box as we strive toward serving those redemptive entrepreneurs yet to come.

Thank you for being part of this work. We’re happy to have you by our side on the journey.

Highlights from Around the World

The Americas

Across the Americas, we improved market access for farmers by connecting them with buyers and boosting their ability to meet demand. In Honduras, Elevar coffee farmers are preparing their first full container export to a major U.S. retailer. In Ecuador, a partner-led milk collection center is helping dairy farmers earn better prices. Another coffee partner in Central America doubled sales from 8 to 16! These gains are leading to more stable incomes and stronger communities.

Africa

This year we saw how value chains are transforming communities across Africa. Our new partnership with Up Movement is expanding market access, capital, and technology for farmers in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. In Western Kenya, inclusive initiatives with poultry, pig, and honey will reach 5,000 people, including 20% with disabilities. And across six countries, value chain initiatives in rice, soy, honey, and more continue to drive lasting change.

Asia

Across Asia, entrepreneurs are building skills, launching small businesses, and strengthening their communities. In South Asia, master trainers equipped through partnership are training others in their communities. In Indonesia, pastors and residents at Mentari Village are growing produce, fish, and poultry to improve nutrition and generate income on small plots of land. In the Philippines, mothers are growing as entrepreneurs and leaders through microenterprise training with new partner Happy Nanay, Happy Bahay.

Coffee, Elevated

For over 15 years, Lance and Lisa Buffinga have worked with coffee farmers in Olancho, Honduras, connecting them to resources they need to increase production and find a market for their product.

Most coffee farmers in Olancho had no option but to sell their coffee in-country for less than the cost of production. But that changed when they joined Lance and Lisa Buffinga to form a coffee co-op called Elevar. Through partnership, coffee farmers have improved their quantity and quality of coffee produced. They can also access to a global market, earning more per pound of coffee.

“Getting involved makes a huge difference. You just don't become a BA—you become part of the community.”

Walking Alongside

Bahirnesh doesn’t just sell shoes—she’s demonstrating what it means to be independent and inspiring others along the way.

After her husband’s death, Bahirnesh left her parents’ restrictive home and began selling shoes to support herself and her son. With training and a small loan, she grew her business, gained independence, and now supports her family while inspiring others in her community.

Looking Ahead

The Americas

Across the Americas, PW is working toward a goal of serving16,000 entrepreneurs and supporting 41,000 jobs by2027. We’re expanding access to capital, connecting farmers and small business owners to stable markets, and focusing on people who are often left out—women, youth, and returning migrants. We’ve already tripled the number of entrepreneurs served since 2022, and we’re building on that momentum. With strong partners in seven countries and new tools like digital lending and savings groups, we’re ready for what’s next.

Africa

By 2027, PW aims to support 334,000entrepreneurs across Africa by focusing on what works: linking farmers to strong markets, connecting women to capital, equipping local leaders, and strengthening our staff. In Africa, we’re building on over 25 years of experience in 14 countries, and we’re scaling value chains like rice and soybeans. We’re also walking alongside 5,000 redemptive business leaders who will mentor others in their communities. This plan is grounded, local, and designed to meet real needs with real solutions.

Asia

PW plans to serve 88,000 entrepreneurs across Asia by 2027 by growing our network and deepening support. We’re building new partnerships, offering training in business and farming, and linking farmers to better markets—like feed mills in the Philippines and dairy cooperatives in South Asia. We’re also helping our partners access diversified funding, so they are less reliant on outside funding. This is about scaling what’s already working in and through five countries and giving local leaders what they need to go further.
